To live, actually live, requires courage

“So, standing in front of the mirror today I was contemplating the challenges ahead of us. I started thinking that starting a business is not for the faint of heart. We have heard the word “No” more than I would attempt to count. We have made plans, changed plans and then made plans to change them again. We have become flexible and courageous as we have navigated this process. We are a team of incredibly strong and motivated women that will not deviate from the journey before us.

It was a moment of reflection and realization. Life is not for the faint of heart. To live, actually live, requires courage. It takes courage to face each day and overcome its challenges. We set goals and work to achieve them, some days we make progress and other days seem to stand still. Yet, we move forward.”

“Courage is a result of terminal illness and end of life. Once a person is told that they are facing the challenge of their life they have choices to make. It is a battle between choosing to be brave, being overcome by fear or any variation thereof. Being ill is not for the faint of heart. Pursuing aggressive treatment is not your only courageous choice. It also takes courage to elect the hospice option. Choosing hospice is not a choice to quit, rather it is bravely moving forward to embrace the life that you want to live. We are proud to spend our lives in service to this mission. We look forward to living this life with all of you, as we courageously live each and every day.”

With a grateful and humble heart,
Amy
