“My dad… was a patient of yours for only a few days. I had already gone back to Oklahoma, so I didn’t have a chance to meet any of your staff, but my brother said the nurses were AMAZING! One of the nurses had the doctor ‘prescribe’ Dad’s daily vodka (toddy). What a great way to take care of Dad and give him some normalcy. You guys took care of setting up his apartment and taking care of his needs so quickly. Even though Dad was only on hospice 1 full day, I had no doubt that he was taken care of. The phone call and the signed card in the mail was a perfect, personal touch.
I know you’re a fairly new hospice care group, but I will happily recommend your group to any of my friends in the Omaha area.
And from what I understand, you’re also awaiting enough funds to build an actual hospice house. I will look further into the matter on your website or you’re welcome to mail me any documents for your organization.
